One Night in Bangkok brought New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027 to a consummate, glittering conclusion on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Capitale Bowery—an architectural showpiece in New York City, resplendent with artisanal ornamentation and unmistakable theatricality. Henry Samuel, the son of supermodel Heidi Klum and singer Seal, commenced the evening’s forty-look spectacle, presented by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) under Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce, in collaboration with WDYW New York, and curated by Tan Sawaddichai.

On the runway, the night unfurled as a deliberately conceived cultural exchange—an embodiment of Thailand’s sustained aspiration to architect an intersection between its most distinguished design talent and the broader, globe-spanning fashion industry. As anticipation for Asian designers and creative visionaries continues to burgeon with near-inevitability, the show offered an arrestingly lucid entrée into the luxuriant range of Thailand’s contemporary sartorial expression.

It moved with confident plurality, ranging from experimental tailoring and utility-inflected design logic to romantic womenswear—highly wrought, meticulously engineered, and crafted with such patient virtuosity that each silhouette seemed to shimmer with intention.
