In the heart of New York City, where artistry meets ambition, The Confessional Showroom unveiled its 6th Annual New York Fashion Week showcase for In Black Magazine and many other prestigious media outlets, an opulent homage to the grandeur of the Roaring Twenties: “The Great GATSBY.”
Within the gilded ballroom of The Edition Times Square, the evening unfolded like a dream—serenaded by the soulful trumpet of Geraldo Marshall, immersing guests in a world where time stood still. The runway shimmered with sequined lace, ethereal plumes, and couture silhouettes, brought to life by visionary designers @tykorchelli, @katandclarese, @kazokulunettesofficial, @tabbe_designs, @muse_sensia_official, @catouwear, and @lunaspaseychelles. Each piece whispered echoes of decadence and desire, a poetic dance between past and present.
As the show reached its dramatic crescendo, a poignant reenactment of Gatsby’s fated demise unfolded—a hauntingly beautiful transition into a celebration of contemporary couture.

Set against the lavish grandeur of The Edition New York Times Square’s iconic ballroom, the 2025 fashion show transported guests into the dazzling world of The Great Gatsby. The venue, with its classic Art Deco-inspired architecture, gilded chandeliers, and opulent detailing, echoed the extravagant soirées of Jay Gatsby’s West Egg mansion.
As guests arrived, they were immersed in the elegance of a bygone era—where champagne flowed endlessly, and the spirit of Daisy Buchanan, Tom Buchanan, and Jordan Baker seemed to linger in the air. The runway became a cinematic spectacle, reminiscent of Baz Luhrmann’s 2013 adaptation, where shimmering gowns, tailored suits, and elaborate accessories paid homage to the Jazz Age’s unapologetic luxury.
Beyond the fashion, the night was a love letter to the Roaring Twenties, an era defined by excess, rebellion, and beauty. From the gleaming vintage automobiles parked at the entrance to the echoes of Charleston melodies filling the air, every detail captured the timeless allure of a world where, as Gatsby himself believed, “Can’t repeat the past? … Why, of course you can!”

On cue with he lavish grandeur of The Edition New York Times Square’s iconic ballroom, the 2025 fashion show unfolded with an enchanting theme inspired by the Roaring Twenties: “The Great GATSBY.” This magnificent venue, renowned for its classic Art Deco-inspired design, provided the perfect stage for a night of glamour and nostalgia. As guests settled into their seats beneath the ballroom’s gilded chandeliers and intricate architectural detailing, they were serenaded by the soulful trumpet of Geraldo Marshall, setting the tone for a truly immersive experience.
The runway presentation was a splendid tapestry of classic elegance, showcasing garments from talented designers including @tykorchelli, @katandclarese, @kazokulunettesofficial, @tabbe_designs, @muse_sensia_official, @catouwear, and @lunaspaseychelles. The collection featured sequined lace and period-inspired silhouettes, adorned with extravagant hats, delicate plumes, and cascading pearls—each piece harmonizing with the ballroom’s timeless aesthetic.
